Due to growing demand, we are looking for passionate, reliable, and skilled Disability Support Workers to join our team across the Albury/Wodonga region.
About the Role:
We are seeking committed support workers who are available to work a variety of shifts including active nights, community access, personal care, and short-term respite. You will support individuals living with disability to achieve their goals, participate in their community, and develop life skills. This is more than just a job – it's about forming genuine, professional relationships that enrich lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support with daily living activities (personal care, cooking, hygiene, etc.)
Assist with community access and transport to appointments, programs, and social outings
Implement behaviour support strategies as per BSP (Behaviour Support Plan)
Promote independence, self-esteem, and choice
Accurate record-keeping and progress note documentation
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 12 months experience in disability or community services
Experience with complex behaviours, trauma-informed support, or psychosocial disabilities is highly regarded
Life experience is welcome and highly valued — we know some of the best support workers come with lived understanding and empathy
A genuine passion for the disability sector and a commitment to person-centered practice
Strong communication skills, reliability, and initiative
Availability to work a mix of shifts (including weekends, overnights, or short notice if needed)
Essential Requirements:
Current First Aid and CPR certification
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check NSW &/or VIC
Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
