Nursery Room Leader – Full Time

Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood educator ready to lead a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring nursery room? Ekidna School of Early Learning in Dee Why is looking for a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis.

We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and are committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and care. Our Nursery Room provides a gentle and responsive environment where our youngest learners feel safe, secure, and supported.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and support a passionate team of educators in the Nursery Room (6 weeks–14 months)

Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families

Develop and implement high-quality educational programs tailored to the needs of each child

Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards and the EYLF

Work collaboratively with leadership to maintain a positive and professional culture

About You:

Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior educator role (Nursery experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and NQS

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

A nurturing and responsive approach to infant care
