Key Responsibilities

Carry out full‑cycle bookkeeping in Xero (AP/AR, journals, bank recs).

Manage supplier invoices, payment runs, GST/BAS compliance and complete month‑end close procedures.

Run monthly payroll & superannuation, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.

Maintain project cost ledgers, cash‑flow and contract‑tracking for 20 + developments.

Prepare management reports & audit packs and maintain systematic filing of all finance documents while liaising with project, legal and tax teams.

Key Requirements

3 + years’ bookkeeping / assistant‑accountant experience with advanced Xero skills.

Proven payroll, invoice processing and payment‑control expertise.

Strong Excel skills and meticulous data‑reconciliation capability.

Experience in property development, construction or project‑based accounting (preferred).

Detail‑driven, self‑starting and resilient under deadline pressure.
