My client is an established mid-sized accounting firm in Sydney. They offer high level accounting and tax services to clients across a range of industries including manufacturing, IT, retail, medical, construction and professional services. They are hiring a Bookkeeper for their Business Advisory & Tax division to assist with some of their largest clients.

This role will report to the Manager whilst carrying out duties including (but not limited to):

Attending to own client ledger

BAS/IAS preparation, monthly and quarterly

Processing payroll

Accounts payable and receivable

Reconciliation of general ledger accounts

Preparation of superannuation reports

Data entry of bank details, income and expenses

Attending client meetings with Partner and Accountants as required

Other ad-hoc duties as required

Applicants:

Approximately 3 years experience or more in a bookkeeping role ideally in an accounting firm

Experience with accounting systems such as Xero and MYOB

Team player and able to work collaboratively

IT-savvy and able to adapt to changing/updated systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
