About the role

Join the team at CST Tax Advisors' as a Senior Bookkeeper/Head of Bookkeeping. This newly created full-time role in our Crows Nest, office will be responsible for overseeing all bookkeeping and BAS services to our growing client base.

What you'll be doing

Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger and superannuation

Providing strategic advice to clients on improving financial processes and controls

Working with junior team ensure accurate and timely client deliverables

Implementing and maintaining effective bookkeeping systems and procedures

Acting as the primary point of contact for clients on all bookkeeping matters

What we're looking for

5+ years' experience in a senior bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a public practice environment

Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping principles

Proven ability to manage multiple client files independently

Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Proficiency in using Xero, BGL and other products

BAS Agent license highly desirable
