This is an exciting opportunity to earn commission, with a generous base salary, car allowance, company laptop and mobile phone provided.

Strong previous experience in project management, quoting / estimating, civil engineering and business development within the civil industry More specifically, you'll have proven success in areas such as product presentations, cold calling, account management, new business development and the development and delivery of business proposals.

As a high performance sales professional, you will be confident in your ability to create strategic commercial relationships with both new and existing customers leading to mutually beneficial outcomes.

The day-to-day role will include:

Identifying and tendering on appropriate projects as they come up for tender at a frequency nominated by the company

Cold calling and prospecting for new business in all vertical markets in the region specified.

Maintaining and expanding a register detailing sites/projects that are coming up for tender

Tendering on new work as per the company’s direction, policies and procedures

Managing Client-Company relationships with a focus on promoting the company brand in a positive manner at all times, ensuring that operational staff are maintaining a consistently high standard of all new work obtained.

Managing all costs associated with the Sales role to meet budget expectations

Showing initiative and drive in procuring new clients, targeting high value markets and following company strategies and objectives.

Helping to broaden and deepen the company's set of clients and engaged work.

Due to the largely autonomous nature of the role, you will also need to have a general understanding of the processes involved in managing a sales territory independently to establish a baseline profitability, including an intermediate level of computer literacy.

Salary package will be commensurate with experience relevant to this role.
