The Company
Our client are a leading FMCG business located in Brisbane, on the back of continued growth they are now positioned to hire a Production & Planning Coordinator responsible for coordinating raw materials availability to ensure a streamlined production process.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, this role will be responsible for;

• Develop and maintain optimised production schedules to balance supply and demand, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimal disruptions.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems, including labour planning, packaging, and transport efficiencies.
• Work closely with Production, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align business objectives, resolve planning challenges, and support new product implementation.
• Drive ongoing process improvements, monitor key metrics, and compile production reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Your Background

• 1 – 2 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar industry is critical to your success in this role, preferably coming from a meat manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once,
• Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Microsoft Excel and/or experience with ERP/WMS systems.
