We're looking for a proactive, organised, and technically curious individual to join our team as a Production & Planning Lead.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on keeping jobs moving, solving problems before they happen, and bridging the gap between planning and the shopfloor.

Who will you be working with?
You’ll be working with a well-established Australian company with over 60 years of experience delivering specialist contracting services across dredging, steel fabrication, civil construction, and more. With a strong reputation for innovation and quality, they operate advanced facilities and equipment to support complex and custom project delivery.

Must-Have Experience:

• 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing, custom fabrication, or engineering-support environment
• Strong exposure to production scheduling, materials coordination, and supplier follow-up
• Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto, SAP B1, or MYOB Advanced
• Familiarity with job tracking, budgeting, and managing critical path timelines
• Comfortable working closely with shopfloor teams and translating between planning and production

Key Skills:

• Scheduling ownership – managing 15–30 concurrent jobs, from standard kits to custom one-off builds
• Material flow coordination – ensuring parts arrive on time, fast-tracking urgent items, and liaising with suppliers such as laser cutters, painters, and machine shops
• Cost and hours tracking – using ERP systems or Excel dashboards to flag potential overruns early
• Supplier and stakeholder communication – proactive follow-ups, expectation management, and escalating blockers when needed
• Shopfloor awareness – regularly engaging with the Assembly Manager to monitor progress and re-sequence tasks as required

• A supply chain or logistics pro who gets lead times and critical path constraints.
• A site or production coordinator used to juggling people, parts, and timelines.
