Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting strategic growth across our staffing services. The ideal candidate is proactive, target-oriented, and passionate about creating meaningful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare and community services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights
Prepare proposals, presentations, and service agreements for potential clients
Collaborate with recruitment teams to align client needs with candidate sourcing
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly business development targets
Attend industry events, networking functions, and promotional activities
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales progress using CRM tools
Conduct interviews and recruit qualified Disability Support Workers, AINs, ENs and RNs
Coordinate and manage staff rosters, ensuring optimal placement based on availability, skills, and client needs
Track and report on recruitment metrics, client engagement, and rostering efficiency
Key Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in staffing, healthcare, or professional services)
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Proficient in managing and navigating major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Commercial acumen with an understanding of the staffing industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canvas and CRM platforms
A valid driver’s license
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
