TruScreen has developed an AI-enabled device that provides real-time detection of pre-cancerous and cancerous cervical changes. The device aims to improve cervical cancer outcomes worldwide by facilitating early intervention and better treatment, and is particularly well suited to communities that cannot access conventional, laboratory dependent, screening methods at scale.
Role Description
Reporting to our General Manager (Commercial), the Business Development Officer will be responsible for working with partners and distributors to develop global markets for HPV testing products which have recently been added to the TruScreen portfolio, as well as develop relationships and build awareness of TruScreen with global Ministries of Health, NGO’s and private foundations with a view to adopting TruScreen in Public Screening Programs.
Hours and Location
The role is based from our Lane Cove office, with flexible hours and hybrid working a possibility dependent on requirements.
Core Job Responsibilities and Activities:
Responsible for the research and maintenance of a key contact list for global Ministries of Health, NGO’s and private foundations
Implement and oversee communication programs to promote and build understanding of the organisation and its products to the relevant contacts (above), using a variety of channels including website, email marketing (MailChimp), YouTube and social media (Facebook and Linkedin)
Commercial responsibility for introduction of TruScreen to new Public Screening Programs
Develop a sales and marketing plan for the distribution of HPV testing products
Design and develop communication materials and marketing collateral to support the sales plan
Knowledge, Education and Experience Required:
Proven project management skills
Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
Experience developing and implementing strategic plans
Proven product or industry knowledge
Minimum 3 years business development and marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment
Relevant tertiary qualification
Experience in cross-functionality collaboration
Experience in the healthcare or medical technology industry is a plus
Skills Required:
Excellent written skills
Strong verbal communication
Demonstrated creative, writing, editing and multi-tasking capabilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required
High level of competency in MS Office 365 package
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth

SOP09 – Human Resources & Training
SOP17 – Validation Controls
SOP22 – Control of Electronic Records
SOP34 – TruScreen Claims Procedure
SOP40 – Economic Operator Quality Agreements
