About the role

G4S is a global leader in security solutions, and we're looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to support operations across all contracts in our Security Services portfolio. You'll play a critical role in shaping our security posture and ensuring the seamless operation of our security teams and infrastructure. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make a real impact on our organisation's resilience and contribute to our long-term success.

Strategic Security Leadership

• Security Strategy & Architecture: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and cutting-edge solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Ensure strict adherence to relevant security laws, regulations, and industry standards through regular audits.
• Strategic Vision: Contribute to the long-term security vision by staying updated on emerging threats and technologies to continuously enhance our security posture.

Operational Oversight & Incident Response

• Daily Security Operations: Oversee day-to-day security infrastructure, monitoring systems, and managing alerts.
• Incident Management: Lead and coordinate all phases of security incident response, from detection to post-incident review, and refine incident response playbooks.
• Threat & Vulnerability Management: Conduct threat hunting, analyze security events, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Forensic Investigations: Lead forensic investigations of security breaches, documenting findings and implementing preventative measures.

Team & Stakeholder Engagement

• Training & Communication: Develop and deliver security awareness training and effectively communicate security policies and incidents across all organizational levels.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security operations, risk, and compliance.
• External Liaison & Service: Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders (law enforcement, vendors, peers) and ensure excellent customer service from the security team.

• A high level of integrity, discretion, and reliability when handling sensitive and confidential information.
