THE NEXT STEP: Join a rapidly growing Australian MSP who is acquiring a number of its competitors. Significant Leadership opportunity for a PM OR IT Support Team Leader to grow into IT Operations Manager role. Build and lead high-performing teams. Engage, influence, and align diverse stakeholders across technical and business domains.
We have a (Permanent) IT Operations Manager – Managed Services role available.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Project Manager OR IT Support Team Leader with a Technical background and MSP Experience to grow into the role.
You will lead Implementation, delivery, optimisation, and continuous improvement of managed IT services across the client base.
You will be building the Managed Services team, ensuring scalable, high-performing service delivery operations, with a strong focus on ITIL-aligned processes, project management and execution, and customer satisfaction.
You will require experience in Managed Services Environments, preferably within an IT services provider, MSP, or systems integrator.
Team Leadership Experience, Implementation Projects Experience and MSP / understanding of Customer Environments will be key to your success.

- Vendor & Toolset Management
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Team Leadership Experience
- Project Management OR IT Support Team Leadership Experience
- Managed Services Provider (MSP) Experience
- Experience in Implementation Projects
- Deep understanding of Implementations
- Understanding of Project Lifecycle and ability to take ownership of a Project / Delivery
- Understanding of Customer Environments
- Experience having run Helpdesk, Managed Tickets / Issues is ideal
- Practical ITIL Experience in Problem Solutioning
- Technical background preferably in either System Engineering OR Network Engineering OR System Admin OR Helpdesk OR Service Desk
- Desire to learn and grow into an IT Operations Manager
- Excellent Stakeholder Engagement & Communication skills
- Exposure to Project Management with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, networks, security, and end-user computing
