Experienced Handyperson – Property Maintenance

Right Crew Services is a fast-growing property maintenance business based in Melbourne, currently expanding to meet growing client demand. We're seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our dedicated team of professionals.

We’re a crew of 10, bringing together expertise in carpentry, cabinet making, roof restoration, painting, plastering, electrical and plumbing. You’ll be working closely with our Maintenance Manager and will have the full support of our Senior Carpenter for advice or assistance on the job.

About the Role

You will perform a wide variety of property maintenance tasks, contributing to quality outcomes across residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out repair and maintenance work (e.g., window frame beading, door installation/repair, cabinetry fixes)

General carpentry including installations and timber repairs

Patch and painting skills

Installing wall fixings such as TV brackets, cabinets, and shelving

Gutter and roof repairs (basic knowledge ideal)

Identifying and reporting maintenance issues on-site

Upholding site safety standards and communicating hazards

Representing our brand with professionalism and energy at all times

Providing clear communication and exceptional customer service

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in the maintenance/building and construction industry

Strong carpentry background with experience in general handyman tasks

Trade qualification in carpentry or a related field (highly regarded)

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Strong time management and multitasking ability

Police Check and/or Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Physically fit and capable of manual work, including working at heights

Ability to work full time

Proactive, problem-solving attitude with attention to detail
