Join Our Team – Part-Time Administrator

We’re looking for an energetic and adaptable Part-Time Administrator to join our team — but this is not your standard admin role! This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our external stakeholders, and your contributions will play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Be the primary contact for all external communications via email and phone.

Collect mail and manage weekly banking and change for our retail store.

Assist with meeting and conference planning, including taking minutes when needed.

Manage the Purchase Order system and generate orders following management approval.

Coordinate weekly social media and Mailchimp marketing campaigns targeting industry audiences.

Manage product inventory through our WooCommerce site.

Support document creation, implement systems, and update procedural manuals.

Maintain records for patents and licences.

Submit applications for permits, patents, government grants, and trade events.

Assist with the organisation of trade events.

Contribute to Accounts Receivable processes.

Enter retail sales data into MYOB, process credit card payments, and assist with reconciliations.

Provide general administrative support to meet operational needs.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships.

Comfortable managing busy periods with a calm and professional approach.

Able to effectively prioritise multiple projects.

A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude, and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic work environment.

What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience in Reception and/or Administration.

MYOB experience (advantageous but not essential).

A current Weapons Licence (or willingness to obtain).

Confidence in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Professional and courteous communication skills — in person, over the phone, and in writing.

Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.

Experience with purchase order systems (desirable but not essential).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A positive attitude that contributes to a great workplace culture.

Role Details

Part-time hours across 3 days per week
