Due to our strong and continued growth, Farmer Constructions PTY LTD is now seeking an experienced and self-motivated Site Supervisor to join our team in the Greater Sunshine Coast region.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of multiple residential, commercial and domestic insurance jobs at any one time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering projects that stand out for their quality and attention to detail. You’ll be entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. We’re looking for candidates who are currently in a similar role and have a track record of success in managing construction sites efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate construction activities across multiple projects

Ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and timelines

Manage long and short-term projects to meet deadlines

Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during construction

Coordinate logistics, material deliveries, and resource allocation

Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members

Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track from start to finish

Skills & Experience:

Strong organizational and forward-planning skills with ability to meet deadlines

Excellent leadership and communication abilities

High attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Sound knowledge of Quality and Process Control Procedures

A professional, approachable, and solution-oriented attitude

Please note, due to the nature of insurance repair work, travel to other areas may occasionally be required during major weather events.

ABOUT YOU:

As the successful candidate, you will need the following:

A current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (minimum Low Rise)

Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Positive and confident attitude with high focus on customer service

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extensive building and carpentry knowledge

Willingness to adopt current systems and actively participate in the continual growth of the business

Current Police Check

A minimum of five years building experience with a Carpentry trade background

A working knowledge of the NCC, QBCC Standards and Tolerances and WH&S

High-level computer skills across mobile devices, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs

Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of finishes from your trade team
