About Us:
JR Skip Bins and Trashpacks is a leading skip bin and trashpack hire company in Southern Tasmania, providing reliable and efficient waste management solutions to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate to fill the Scheduler and General Admin position.
The Role:
As a Scheduler/Administrator you will play a key role in coordinating skip bin and trashpack deliveries, pickups, customer communications and billing. This is an all-rounder role in a very fast faced environment, where you will be required to work across all aspects of the operations. This role has the potential to develop in to becoming the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and allocating skip bin and trashpack deliveries and pickups efficiently
- Managing customer bookings, inquiries, and service updates
- Liaising with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Processing orders, invoices, and payments accurately
- Maintaining records and updating databases in our booking and tracking systems
- Organise accounts payable and incoming invoices
- Manage Creditors including taking payments over the phone, reconcile Xero, follow up on overdue monies
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in administration, logistics, or dispatch (waste industry experience a plus)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with scheduling and book keeping software inc. Xero and Microsoft Office, particularly excel and Outlook
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills
