The Role
Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Accounting & Finance Firm
Location: Brendale
Work Days: Monday -Thursday (18-22 hours/week)
Start Date: late August/early September
$28 - $32/hour +super dependent on experience
Are you an organised, approachable, and detail-oriented person looking for a flexible part-time role? We’re a well-regarded accounting and finance broking firm based in Brendale and we’re currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team to assist on the accounting side.
About the Role
This is a part-time position offering flexibility across Monday to Thursday, with core hours between 8.30am and 3pm. We’re looking for someone available 18-22 hours per week, with scope for additional hours during peak periods or to cover other leave. Note that this position requires 4 days in the office.
This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments, while still playing an integral role in supporting a professional team. Also note that we are in a high-growth phase so more permanent hours will be available in the coming years if the successful applicant desires.
Key Responsibilities
Answering phones, greeting clients, managing emails
Scheduling appointments and calendar coordination
Document preparation, printing, scanning, and filing
Basic data entry and database management
Maintaining office supplies and handling general admin tasks
Supporting the accounting team with ad hoc duties as needed
About You
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
Confident with Microsoft Office and general office systems
Experience in an accounting firm or professional services (ideal but not essential)
A friendly attitude
