About the role
Comprised of the Quality, Practice, and Learning & Development functions, the Quality, Practice and Learning business unit is responsible for driving excellence in service delivery through a strong focus on quality, contemporary practice development inclusive of lived experience led and centred approaches, evidence including Mind outcome measures, and robust lived experience informed, practice and clinical governance.
We are seeking knowledgeable, driven Quality Assurance Advisor for a permanent, fulltime opportunity in the Burnley area. You will lead and support a range of quality improvement initiatives and the monitoring of performance in relation to the systematic improvement of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to internal processes and external reporting requirements of Mind’s client complaints and incident management.
- Identify improvements and develop strategies to implement continuous improvements in managing complaints and incidents.
- Support and monitor compliance with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Maintain knowledge of all existing and future accreditation requirements.
- Provide internal advice and guidance on privacy matters and assist leaders to understand their obligations under the Privacy Act and other relevant legislation.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) or equivalent experience in Mental Health or other health related field as designated by Mind.
- Knowledge of safety and quality principles and systems in a health care setting.
- Experience and knowledge of internal audit processes and accreditation processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate innovation, utilize critical and creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into workplace improvements.
