Position Profile: In liaison with the Regional Directors of Clinical Training (DCT) and the Central Medical Education Unit (MEU) this role supports the organisation and evaluation of medical education and training for Junior Medical Officers (JMOs). This position assists with orientation, assessment, supervision and education programs to ensure the ongoing development of medical staff and acts as a conduit for information between the regional and central medical education units. The Medical Education Officer (MEO) supports the wellbeing of JMOs and helps integrate medical students in the hospital. The MEO is responsible for accreditation documentation and activities in accordance with the requirements of the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia (PMCWA) and the Australian Medical Council (AMC).
