About the opportunity
Join a team that makes a measurable difference behind the scenes. NSW Health Pathology is seeking two experienced Revenue Audit Officers to support our Revenue Team based at John Hunter Hospital. In this temporary full-time opportunity, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring pathology billing compliance by reviewing and updating request forms in accordance with Medicare, Ministry of Health, and Commonwealth guidelines. With a strong focus on accuracy and audit integrity, this role directly contributes to the organisation’s financial sustainability and ongoing commitment to public health outcomes.
We’re looking for detail-driven professionals with a passion for health finance, capable of navigating complex Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) rules to optimise revenue and billing outcomes. What you'll be doing
To ensure that revenue generated is processed in an accurate and timely manner and within financial deadlines. Following up outstanding accounts. Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external clients.
