New Payroll & Benefits Specialist opportunity, working for a large international FMCG organization based in Sydney CBD.

This exciting new Payroll & Benefits Specialist opportunity will focus on the end to end payroll processing of approx 150+ staff (across ANZ) on a fortnightly & monthly basis using ADP (outsourced).

You will work closely with the HR business partner of this business unit and the wider payroll team.

You will be working across a range of systems including ADP and the business is looking to go through a system transition in the near future. ADP system knowledge or experience working with an outsourced provider will be highly beneficial.

This is a full time permanent role based in Sydney CBD. Hybrid working is offered, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Salary on offer is $110,000 - $120,000 + super + bonus depending on experience.

Job responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Prepare and process end-to-end payroll on a weekly basis for approx 150 + office based staff across ANZ.
  • First point of contact for any payroll queries and resolves any issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with with the outsourced provider to ensure a smooth and timely payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with EBA's, fair work, ATO, etc.
  • Review payroll journals and reconciliations as well as prepare and lodge payroll tax, super and work cover reports.
  • Work closely with the wider payroll time and assist with monthly payroll when required.
  • Assist with any payroll related projects including system migration, upgrades, etc.

Benefits

  • Manage the enrolment, renewal and deliver of benefits to all eligible employees.
  • Research & analyse benefits plans, programs & policies and make recommendations
  • Raise PO's for benefits/ payroll

Candidate skills & experience

  • Prior experience working in a senior payroll capacity will be beneficial e.g. 3+ years of end to end payroll processing.
  • Ability to interpret EBA's & awards and must stay abreast of any changes.
  • having exposure to Benefits vendor management would be advantageous
  • Experience with ADP & working with outsourced providers would be a bonus.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
