We’re growing fast – and so is our payroll function. We're looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our high-performing team and help ensure our people are paid accurately, on time, and with confidence.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be joining a team of 6 in which you’ll take ownership of our end-to-end payroll operations. You’ll be trusted to deliver precision, compliance, and outstanding internal service while contributing to process improvements that elevate the employee experience.
What you’ll do
- Manage and process end-to-end payroll and commissions for a large, multi-entity business
- Ensure compliance with Australian & New Zealand employment legislation, awards, and tax obligations
- Maintain and audit payroll records, reporting, and reconciliations
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on employee life-cycle changes
- Provide timely, helpful responses to payroll queries from employees
- Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years' experience in a dedicated payroll function within a medium to large business
- In-depth understanding of Australian & New Zealand payroll legislation and award interpretation
- Strong systems knowledge (e.g.Preceda, ADP, or similar platforms)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
