As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.

About the Role:
We're currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef for a casual position (3–5 days per week). You'll be working closely with our Head Chef in a well-organised, supportive kitchen that values collaboration, creativity, and high standards.

Daytime hours only – no nights or Sundays

Shifts: Weekdays 7:30am–4:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am–3:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and presenting high-quality meals to order

Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team

Assisting with menu development and kitchen operations as needed

About You:

Proven experience in a café or restaurant kitchen environment

Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced café or restaurant kitchen

Strong time management and communication skills

Passionate about quality food and guest experience

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service

Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification required

Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate essential
