We are seeking applications from qualified Chefs to join our catering team at Invercauld House.

Invercauld House is a medium-sized conference, event and accommodation venue in Lismore. Located a five-minute drive from the Lismore CBD and set in over 2 hectares of beautiful gardens, Invercauld House is operated by the Catholic Diocese of Lismore. With 29 accommodation suites and multiple conference rooms and event spaces, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional food, service and amenities.

Remuneration and Hours

$35-$45 per hour, negotiable based on skills and experience. The Casual Chef will work on a roster with primarily business hours with some evening and weekend shifts, joining a team of 3 qualified chefs. Ideally, the successful appointee is available for 30+ hours per week.

Selection criteria

1) Trade qualification and experience working as a Chef in a hospitality venue

2) Track record of delivering high quality product and service

3) Punctual, with high levels of professionalism and presentation

4) Sound knowledge of food safety practices

5) Available for a shifts during ordinary business hours, evenings and weekends
