Indooroopilly Golf Club Wedding and Events department is looking to hire its newest team member!

Following an extensive period of renovations, we are excited about the growth that our new facilities will provide to the events side of the business. Already an established events venue and private members golf club, with over 2,400 members, Indooroopilly Golf Club (IGC) celebrates it’s centenary in 2026.

IGC is now accepting applications for the exciting full-time position of Weddings and Events Coordinator. The successful applicant will play a role in shaping the future of the Club.

You will be an excellent communicator, possess outstanding customer service standards with an exceptional eye for detail.

THE ROLE:

Coordinate and execute a high volume of member and private events including, but not limited to, weddings, seminars, dinners, cocktail parties and Club events.

Respond to all enquiries, manage venue inspections, convert leads to bookings, coordinate planning meetings, develop event orders, floorplans, event stationery, menu construction and recommendations, logistics, follow up and invoicing.

Build collaborative working relationships with internal departments.

Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders.

Be the main contact point for each stage of an event through to execution.

Assist with the execution of events marketing activities across a variety of channels.

QUALITIES:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Relevant degree level qualification is highly regarded.

Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative and work proactively.

Proficient in administration, use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Canva.

Knowledge of Northstar system is desirable.

Experience with social media and marketing is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Valid driver’s license and unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Flexible availability.

THE PACKAGE

Full time role of 38 hours per week, predominantly Tuesday – Saturday.

Salary offer will range from $70,000 - $75,000 per year (exclusive of Superannuation), depending on experience.
