Harrup Park is North Queensland’s leading multi-sport, hospitality, and entertainment venue, featuring a modern bistro, 200 gaming machines, vibrant bars, TAB, functions centre, and the nationally acclaimed Great Barrier Reef Arena. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team and help deliver dynamic marketing campaigns, exciting events, and engaging gaming promotions.
Reporting to the Marketing and Events Manager, this full-time role is perfect for someone ready to step up in their career and take ownership of planning and executing a wide range of marketing and event initiatives across all areas of the business – from hospitality and sport to entertainment and gaming.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, radio, and in-venue channels.
Assist with the planning, promotion, and delivery of venue events, ticketed functions, and major sporting experiences at Harrup Park and the Great Barrier Reef Arena.
Develop and execute engaging in-venue gaming promotions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the Gaming and Loyalty teams to drive member engagement and analyse campaign effectiveness.
Produce high-quality marketing content, including promotional materials, signage, digital ads, social media posts, media releases, and newsletters.
Assist with design and content updates for the website and digital signage platforms.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure all events and campaigns are well-coordinated and executed.
Maintain brand consistency and ensure high visibility for all marketing and promotional activities.
Support sponsorship and partnership activations, and assist in delivering commercial outcomes.
Provide general support across hospitality operations, gaming, and club activities.
What We’re Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Events, Communications, or a related discipline.
1–3 years’ experience in a similar marketing or event coordination role.
Demonstrated experience with digital marketing and social media management.
Experience in gaming promotions or hospitality-based marketing is highly desirable.
Strong copywriting and communication skills.
Creative eye with basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
Familiarity with gaming systems (e.g., MaxGaming, Wildcat) and loyalty programs is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude with a team focus.
