The Role
As a Business Advisor (Marketing Services) you will manage an existing portfolio of 150+ customers in a Face to Face (F2F) account management role and support small to medium businesses (SMBs) to manage their online presence and grow their businesses through effective digital marketing strategies.
Our customers have a range of products including Yellow Pages Online, Yellow Pages Print, SEO, SEM, Social Ads, Websites, Digital Display products & SaaS systems. The focus of this role is to maintain your customers spend and in addition utilising your solution selling techniques to sell our award winning Thryv SasS products to them.
The role involves:
· Maintaining and growing an existing portfolio of SMB customers using solution selling techniques within marketing services.
· Leveraging your portfolio of clients and through creating new business opportunities, you will also be responsible for ensuring our customers are purchasing our award winning Thryv (SaaS) systems which help them to manage their online presence, get the job, manage the job, and get credit for the jobs they do.
With a large component of F2F interaction with SMBs across the Trades and Services industry, this role will see you on the road daily. When you are not on the road meeting
with business owners you will benefit from working from home, allowing you to maximize your productivity and efficiency.
This role is a Permanent Full-Time Position, located in Port Macquarie, NSW. and commencing on 6th August 2025, reporting to the Account Director - NSW.
Your Responsibilities
As the Business Advisor (Marketing Services), you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Daily Face-to Face meetings with both existing and new clients.
· Achieving monthly sales targets.
· Maintaining current customer portfolio, whilst upselling and cross selling Thryv SaaS systems.
· Weekly and monthly reporting to ensure that you are meeting your KPIs and targets.
· Understanding client needs and offering tailored SaaS solutions.
· Driving your own mobile operating rhythm and managing your time effectively to generate results
The Ideal Candidate
With a self-starter mentality and a strong drive, you will have the opportunity to be a top-performing Business Advisor selling tailored SaaS solutions. You will showcase your exceptional customer service skills and ability to solution sell across a range of products and services with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction at the forefront. You would also have a proven track record in a high volume complex sales role, experience in digital marketing will be highly regarded.
Your Skills and Experience:
· Highly developed knowledge of the digital marketing landscape including knowledge of SEO, SEM, Social Ads, and Digital Display products.
· 2+ years face to face selling experience to small to medium businesses is a must.
· Proven sales background with experience in achieving sales targets.
· Strong customer focus and Account Management experience in a face to face selling environment.
· Understanding of the SMB market
· Proven ability to meet deadlines under tight timeframes.
· Results orientated and a proven ability to manage competing demands whilst maintaining a high level of customer focus.
· Ability to work as part of a team to achieve team and organisational objectives.
· Proven ability to manage key customer drivers account management / communication/ knowledge of business and industry.
