About the role

This part-time Account Clerk position at Australia Migration Services' in Melbourne presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the finance operations of our dynamic organisation. As an Account Clerk, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative tasks that are crucial to the smooth running of our business.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts

Preparing invoices, statements, and other financial reports

Maintaining and updating the accounting records and filing system

Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Performing other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

Relevant experience as an Account Clerk or similar role, ideally in an accounting or finance environment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with numerical data

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
