RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a Team of 4 E-bike and E-Scooter Mechanics

Work with the Operations Manager to schedule customer appointments

Be customer service oriented, personable and focused on creating an enjoyable customer experience

Repair bicycles to Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1927:1998 and assess any damage to the bike to determine whether it is wear and tear or damage

Maintaining a consistent inventory and order parts when necessary

Assemble new bikes and perform quality control checks to ensure the safety of all bicycles

Maintain PEDL’S Bike’s systems by keeping an accurate record of workshop services using Hub-tiger

Provide feedback about repairs to the Operations Manager and on ways we can improve our products or service

Assist in other areas of the business as required

SKILLS

3-5 years of workshop experience, although exceptions will be entertained

Knowledge of how an ebike works including how to assemble and disassemble a bike and E-scooter

Knowledge of how to fix batteries and the electric components of a bike

OTHER

Ability manage their own time and prioritise what’s important

A passion for fixing things

Flexibility: because we are an SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) the hours worked will be flexible and required to be available when requested.
