A bit about the role

This is a newly created opportunity to drive the successful delivery of the OneCouncil platform.

Your role will include establishing a new platform management and enhancements model and team, bringing together cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-impact improvements that support business continuity and user needs.

This is a limited tenure opportunity to 31 August 2026.

What you’ll deliver

  • Coordinate governance arrangements associated with the OneCouncil platform to ensure that the integrity of platform architecture remains strong and aligned.
  • Establish governance forums and frameworks, and subsequently convening and reporting into governance forums
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business needs are captured, manage expectations, and ensure successful outcomes, in particular with OneCouncil module owners.
  • Lead and coordinate the cross-functional Platform Management and Enhancements Team, supporting a positive matrix way of working and strong team culture
  • Lead the enhancements prioritisation process to ensure improvements are delivered in line with stakeholder needs for business continuity and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff, vendors, and consultants
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise platforms and improvements, ideally within local government or public sector environments. (TechnologyOne CiA highly desirable)
  • Strong background in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage project governance, interdependencies, portfolios, or programs of work and lead governance and decision making forums
  • Track record in driving benefits realisation and value tracking for enterprise initiatives.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or related field.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
  • A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
