As the business continues to expand its footprint and enhance its capability, there is a rare opportunity for a technically capable and commercially aware IT leader to take ownership of cloud, network, and systems operations, while playing a key role in several strategic projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the IT Infrastructure & Operations Lead will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing core infrastructure across Azure, Microsoft 365, Pronto ERP, and a complex multi-site network environment (including Fortinet and MLS). The role is hands-on, requiring strong technical capabilities across infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and project execution.

You’ll lead infrastructure improvements, help shape the cybersecurity roadmap, and deliver cross-functional digital initiatives , including portals for customers and suppliers, and asset/data management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure strategy and upgrades across cloud, network, servers, and backup systems.
• Own cybersecurity improvements (Intune, Azure, penetration testing, data classification).
• Drive digital initiatives, including ERP integrations and customer/supplier platforms.
• Maintain software licensing, asset registers, and ensure IT compliance (SOX).
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors across ANZ and the US.
• Present updates and reports to stakeholders across the business.
• Provide mentoring and operational support as required.

Key Requirement

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure and/or security roles.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, networking (Fortinet/MLS), and ERP systems (ideally Pronto).
• Strong project management and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable tech solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in wholesale, distribution, or similar industries is highly desirable.
