Westbrook Family Medical Pty Ltd trading as Westbrook and Cambooya Family Medical are busy General Practices. We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly team on a casual basis. The successful applicant will be required to work a minimum of 19 hours per week and take part in the Saturday morning roster when required.

Westbrook and Cambooya Family Medical boasts a wonderful team of caring staff, providing quality care to our patients. We are looking for a medical receptionist who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, can offer a very high standard of customer service, and can show compassion and empathy to each and every one of our patients.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and assisting patients and visitors to the practice

Management of appointments

Answering calls in a timely manner and directing the calls accordingly

Maintaining and entering data

Invoicing and taking payment for services

Collating incoming and outgoing correspondence

Liaise with Doctors and other health professionals and offer administrative support

Be an active member of the team

Ensure the practice is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times.

Required Skill/Experience

Successful candidate must have proven experience in medical reception or similar setting

Must be highly motivated, enthusiastic with a high focus on customer service

High level of computer literacy

High level of oral and written communication skills

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, able to multi-task with high attention to detail

Possess good time management and problem solving skills

Have an excellent phone manner and customer service skills

Be well presented and reliable at all times.
