Must have previous Medical Reception Experience.

About the Role:
We are a well-established, friendly general practice located in inner Brisbane. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic receptionist to join our front desk team. This is a casual role with the potential for additional shifts.

As the first welcoming presence our patients encounter, you'll be the heart of the clinic — ensuring everything runs seamlessly and everyone feels supported from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner

Managing appointments, billing, and patient records using Best Practice software

Answering phone calls and handling general enquiries

Supporting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks

Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and well-maintained

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a general practice setting

Proficiency in Best Practice software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy front desk

A team player with a positive attitude

Desirable:

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
