About the Role:

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our forklift service department, coordinating workshop operations, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued customers. Your ability to build strong client relationships, manage workflow efficiently, and lead a team will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate service schedules for forklifts and related machinery

Liaise directly with customers, particularly businesses operating their own forklift fleets

Supervise service technicians and ensure quality standards are met

Support the development and implementation of service strategies

Maintain accurate service records and oversee parts management

Drive customer satisfaction and repeat business

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a service role within the forklift, heavy machinery or automotive industry

Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting client relationships

Understanding of key forklift components and repair processes

Diesel mechanic or mechanical background preferred, but not essential

Proven leadership and team management skills

Strong organisational and communication abilities
