Project Manager – Fire Protection – Building Services - Mechanical Services (HVAC)

Are you an experienced Building services or mechanical services industry Project Manager with a background in Fire Protection Construction projects of up to $5,000,000.00 value or more?

This is a TRUE Project Management role with NO day-to-day site management, contractor staffing engagement or trivial site issues to deal with. Each of our projects have experienced & dedicated managers to deal with the smooth running of all site-based issues.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Protection Project Manager – (Building services or mechanical services industry.) Your role is to oversee and execute multiple commercial projects.

You will play a crucial role in planning, coordination, financials, procurement deals of major equipment and successful project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes while maintaining strong project related relationships with all internal divisions, suppliers and our Clients.

We work closely with tier one, multinational companies and pride ourselves on being a progressive leader across the Commercial & Industrial Building services Engineering solutions industry.

Qualifications and skills required:

5+ years of Project management experience within the Commercial/ Industrial Building services or mechanical services industry.

An electrical diploma qualification (minimum), solid mechanical knowledge with extensive Fire Protection knowledge in Wet & Dry skill set

Solid D & C knowledge / experience

Strong Microsoft suite Software knowledge & experience

Strong communication skills, confidence in dealing with clients, suppliers and other internal divisions

Understanding of AS / ISO standards & regulations

Strong QA /QC knowledge

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to a wide variety of challenges.

Proven experience in project planning, budget control, costings, estimation, supplier negotiation and transport control

Exceptional reporting skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
