About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Kevin Dennis Volkswagen in Deer Park, VIC. As a full-time Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and managing the day-to-day operations of our service department.

What you'll be doing

· Greet and communicate effectively with customers to understand their service needs

· Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair requirements

· Prepare accurate repair estimates and obtain customer approvals

· Liaise with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient completion of all service work

· Keep customers informed throughout the service process and manage their expectations

· Maintain detailed records of all service activities and customer interactions

· Assist with the scheduling and coordination of the workshop workload

· Contribute to the overall growth and success of the service department

What we're looking for

· Automotive industry experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry

· Strong customer service skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with customers and provide personalised service

· Technical knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, familiarity with Volkswagen products and services as well as experience with Pentana, ERA Power and Outlook

· Problem-solving and organisational skills: Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks, and find creative solutions to address customer needs

· Passion for the industry: Genuine interest in the automotive industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service
