We have a 12-storey, 155-room commercial student accommodation complex that is nearing completion, with the structure requiring a Site Manager to oversee the fit-out and refurbishment of the project next month.

With 8 months left to go on the build, the person needed would be well-versed in projects similar to this one, with the hope that you have experience with something like it or that your background includes a completed project of a similar scope.

Responsibilities

The Fit out Site Manager is responsible for:

The Services and Fit Out Site Manager co-leads the Project Manager, ensuring that activities comply with the Contract Specification and Quality requirements of the contract.

Ensures that Inspection and Test Plans are undertaken and that all verification check sheets and Inspection Reports are complied with;

Enter relevant activities into the Daily Site Diary.

Liaises with Contract Administrator to ensure that the latest revision of drawings and schedules listed in the Drawing Register are in use on site;

Ensures Quality documentation is being collated and check sheets are completed as the Project progresses.

Coordination of all Project trades and suppliers, ensuring optimum project results.

Monitoring Subcontractor compliance with the Project Safety Plan and Procedures in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Ensuring that statutory safety, environment & quality requirements are met, and the PSEQP undertakes all work under the Site Manager’s control.
