Randstad is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and skilled individuals to fill upcoming vacancies for Project Officers (APS6) and Project Managers (EL1). These roles are crucial in delivering key government initiatives and supporting strategic and operational outcomes across a range of projects and programs.

About the Roles
APS6 Project Officers play a vital role in supporting project delivery, including coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and providing sound advice to project leads and senior executives.

EL1 Project Managers lead complex projects or components of larger initiatives. They are responsible for planning, resource coordination, risk management, team leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

APS6 Project Officers:

• Support the development and delivery of project plans and documentation
• Monitor project progress and contribute to status reporting
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes
• Assist in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation activities
• Draft correspondence, briefing materials, and reports

EL1 Project Managers:

• Lead or manage significant projects or workstreams, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives
• Develop and implement project governance frameworks
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues
• Lead stakeholder engagement and manage interdependencies across teams
• Prepare high-quality documentation, reports, and ministerial briefs

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Strong project management skills and experience in complex, fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of APS processes and frameworks (e.g., PGPA Act, risk management, procurement)
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• For EL1 roles: experience leading teams and managing project delivery end-to-end
• Formal qualifications in project management will be highly regarded.
