Trefoil Care Services is an in-home disability, rehabilitation, and nursing care service in Central Victoria. We service areas such as Ballarat, Ararat, Beaufort, Skipton, Avoca, and several other surrounding areas.

We are seeking several Registered Nurses for the Ballarat area who have a passion for working with amazing clients to provide superior service and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and the elderly. You will be working with a Support Worker (2:1) on a slow-stream rehabilitation program, looking after a delightful young adult male with a Traumatic Brain injury who is wheelchair-dependent and receives 24-hour person-centred care.

The successful applicants will work in a supportive multidisciplinary team environment with a strong focus on person-centred care. As part of the team, you will be committed to the values of Trefoil Care Services. Interest in working with a client with disabilities and complex care needs is highly desirable. A variety of shifts are available, and preference will be given to applicants who are willing to work a rotating roster, including possible weekends and nights.

Our rostering program and phone app have the functionality to enter non-availabilities and requests for leave in advance.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

2+ years experience post-registration

Experience in disability medical nursing is desirable but not essential.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated provision of high quality person-centred-care

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

High level of reliability and professional conduct

Enthusiastic and organised approach to working independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem-solving and prioritisation skills

Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development towards the nursing profession.

Satisfactory National Police Check

All Employees must have an NDIS Workers Screening Check (which includes a National Police Check)

Working with Children Card - Employment level (as required)

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable
