Position: Registered Nurse (Practice Nurse) - Contract, Division 1 or 2

The successful applicant will be joining our 3 practice nurses.

Position Details:

Part-Time

Must be available Monday - Friday and alternating Saturdays

Duties & Responsibilities:

Vaccination/Travel Medicine

Maintain patient recall systems utilising Automed software

Chronic Disease Management

Childhood Immunisations

Preparation & Support to GPs in Care Planning and Health Assessments

Assist and support in treatment room procedures

Triage

Wound management

Infection Control/Cold Chain Management

Education & Qualifications:

Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 or 2 Registered Nurse

Current Nurse Immunisation Certificate

About You:

Previous Practice Nurse experience is preferable

Great organisational and time management skills

Attention to detail and willingness to show initiative

Ability to multitask and adapt work style to the needs of a busy practice

Computer literacy skills and medical software experience is preferable (we use Best Practice Software)

Excellent communication skills

Ability to develop and implement Chronic Disease Management Plans

A passion for preventative health

Energetic and enthusiastic approach to work
