Berwick Village Medical Clinic is a newly built centre located in a new estate Alira Village. Our team is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Registered Nurse to join our expanding business.

The position available is Casual 5 days a week with the view of becoming permanent after a 6-month probationary period is completed.

You will have:

Minimum 2-year recent General practice nursing experience

Accreditation experience a must

Relevant Professional Registration with AHPRA.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Efficient time management and multi-tasking ability

Well-developed assessment skills

Professional presentation and attitude

A can do, helpful attitude.

Proficient in electronic record keeping and computer skills using Best Practice

The position involves general nursing:

Vaccinations, (Registered immuniser preferred)

Wound Management,

Chronic disease Care Plans,

Health Assessments,

Diabetic Assessments,

Assisting doctors, as required

Clinical stock Control

Experience with Iron infusions (optional)

ECG’s

Immunisations – travel and childhood

Maintaining recall and reminder system

Cold chain management

Infection control management

Knowledge and/or ability to communicate in a busy business setting.

Ability to prioritise, organise and perform tasks efficiently.

Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times.

Flexibility to meet the operating hours of the Practice.
