Geelong Medical & Health Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic casual Registered Nurse to join our team. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a clinical nursing role within a medical practice. Experience working with Best Practice Software will be highly regarded.

It is expected the successful applicant will enjoy working as an integral part of a close-knit team and be flexible with availability, delivering the highest level of service to patients in an environment that delivers exceptional and personable patient care. Predominantly the position will be based at our Torquay clinic however additional hours may be available at our 3 other clinics in Geelong.

Available to work a combination of Weekdays, evenings and weekend hours.

Immediate start offered.

The Candidate

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

Current Working with Childrens Check.

Passionate and committed to caring for our patients and clients.

Experience in General Practice nursing.

The ability to prioritise emergency situations, perform ECGs and other tests such as spirometry and ECGs. Assist doctors with childhood and travel immunisations, procedures including excision of lesions, plastering and assessments.

Ability to deliver comprehensive health assessments or willingness to learn on the job.

Possess an excellent work ethic, is reliable and has a stable work history.

Motivated with high energy level.

Ability to keep calm under pressure.

Flexibility and Willingness to pick up shifts for sick & holiday coverage.

Superior assessment skills and critical thinking.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Capacity to multi-task.

Neatly presented.
