The Macedonian Community Welfare Association (MCWA) is a well-established, culturally and linguistically diverse not-for-profit provider of in-home aged care services. We are committed to supporting clients to live safely and independently in their own homes, with dignity and respect.

We seek a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Division 1) who specialises in Catheter insertions to join our clinical care team. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality, person-centered nursing services to clients across our community care programs.

This role is based at our head office in Bundoora, however it involves regular travel to clients' homes across Melbourne. A pool car is available for work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver in-home clinical nursing services, including wound care, medication administration, chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes), infection control, and pain management.

· Develop, implement, and review individualised nursing care plans in line with client needs and clinical best practice.

· Provide direct personal care and clinical support to clients.

· Document and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards and organisational policy.

· Collaborate with internal teams including care managers, support workers, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care delivery.

· Support quality improvement and participate in MCWA’s clinical governance activities.

· Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking ability.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to engage respectfully with clients, families, and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.

· Organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification.

· Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse – Division 1.

· Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.

· Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

· Sound understanding of aged care standards and a commitment to person-centered care.

Experience:

· A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse is preferred, but not essential.

· Experience in aged care or community nursing is highly desirable.

· Recent nursing graduates who are AHPRA-registered are strongly encouraged to apply. We welcome emerging professionals who demonstrate compassion, commitment, and a readiness to grow in the aged care sector.
