Buyers’ Agent – Sub-Contractor

The Opportunity

Follio is seeking an experienced and transaction focused Buyers’ Agent to support our Melbourne team on a sub contractor basis.

You will be responsible for sourcing high quality residential properties, conducting inspections, bidding at auction when required, and progressing transactions through to acceptance. This role is strictly focused on the acquisition side. All client communications and strategy are handled by our in house Advisors.

We supply the briefs. Your job is to get the deal done.

Key Responsibilities

Source and present suitable properties aligned with the brief with a strong focus on off market stock
Conduct thorough property inspections and assess suitability against Follio’s criteria
Attend auctions and manage bidding strategy when required
Manage negotiations and progress deals through to acceptance
Liaise with selling agents and ensure timely access to key deal information
Maintain clean auditable deal records in line with internal processes
Provide regular updates to the Head of Investment and Advisory on deal flow and outcomes

What You Bring

Strong track record as a Buyers’ Agent or in property acquisition
Deep understanding of Melbourne’s residential property market
Proven ability to source and secure off market properties
Skilled in property inspections and assessing renovation or maintenance needs
Confident negotiating with agents and representing buyer interests at auction
Licensed: Agents Representative Certificate or Cert IV in Property (Real Estate Services)
Full Australian working rights and current driver’s licence
