Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a customer-focused team member to join our expanding KVM AV group. This newly created role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and a keen interest in further developing their technical skills in cyber security processes and KVM AV systems.
We support all major industries including Energy, Resources, Infrastructure, Emergency Services, Transport, Defense and Space.
Position Overview:
This role is based at our Perth headquarters near the International Airport and is ideal for someone who’s passionate about technology and eager to grow in a customer-focused technical support position. As part of the KVM AV team, you’ll report directly to the Team Lead and play a key role in supporting CADwalk’s internal cyber systems and technical operations.
You’ll assist with AV and IT-related tasks across various projects, helping to build your technical capability while working alongside experienced technicians and project teams. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge control room technologies and includes responsibilities such as documentation, troubleshooting, and internal support.
While primarily office-based, occasional travel may be required across Australia and internationally. Travel expectations are generally under 25%.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote and (when needed) in field technical support across the CADwalk customer group.
Participate in the support roster, responding to internal support calls and issues.
Provide customer assistance outside regular business hours on a scheduled basis.
Oversee the triage and delegation of customer support calls within business hour.
Assist with cable runs, labelling, and AV/IT equipment setup.
Support KVM installations and basic troubleshooting.
Build PCs and assist with general IT maintenance and configuration.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with system diagrams.
Help ensure smooth operation of internal systems and tools.
Travel interstate, intrastate, and internationally as required.
Work within CADwalk’s safety and quality standards.
Experience & Skills
Demonstrated interest or experience in IT; AV skills are a bonus.
Passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in a technical or IT-related role (formal or informal)
Basic understanding of networking and troubleshooting
Familiarity with documentation tools (Visio or similar)
White Card and Police Clearance (can be obtained if not already held)
Licences (desired): Driver’s Licence, Working at Heights, EWP
