Position Overview:

As a Perth-based Technical AV & Control Room Specialist, you’ll be involved in designing, installing, and supporting advanced KVM and AV over IP solutions for critical environments across Australia and occasionally internationally.

Install KVM AV equipment including KVM over IP, DvLED/LCD screens, audio systems, and network devices.

Lead and execute pre-sales activities, including client engagement, solution scoping, and technical input during discovery phases.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with vendors across both implementation and support stages, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issue.

Perform cable runs, terminations, and system configurations onsite and offsite.

Execute pre-configuration, testing (FAT/SAT), and transition to operations.

Provide aftercare support and participate in support rotations including weekends and remote support.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams (Visio/CAD), and project records.

Help support internal IT needs.

Help coordinate travel, logistics, and procurement for project deployments.

Ensure compliance with CADwalk’s ISO-aligned quality procedures and HSEQ standards.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to support project outcomes.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years in IT based Projects Leads.

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. AV, Networking, Systems Engineering).

Hands-on experience with KVM and AV over IP technologies (desired).

Basic programming and troubleshooting skills (ICMP, Cisco switching/routing).

Experience working with tier 1 clients and in critical environments.

Strong documentation and diagramming skills (Visio or equivalent; CAD knowledge a plus).

Crestron and Extron experiences of benefit.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Licenses (preferred): Working at Heights, EWP, Driver’s License, Registered Cabler.

White Card and Police Clearance (can be obtained if not already held).

What We Offer:

The ability to make a real difference, where your views matter.

A competitive salary and benefits package aligned to your capabilities and experience.

The opportunity for professional development and career growth.

A collaborative, flexible, dynamic and innovative environment.

The involvement in challenging, high-impact projects.

Australian Citizenship is desirable, due to potential Defense related work and associated clearance requirements.

This exciting opportunity presents a long and rewarding career path. If you have a successful KVM, AV or IT Networking background, enjoy an innovative & dynamic environment, and like to make a difference, then we would like to hear from you!
