🏢 About the role

As a Customer Service Representative at Pentanet, you’ll join a team that's all about keeping our local community connected with fast, reliable internet solutions.

Based at our brand new HQ in Balcatta, you’ll be the first point of contact for customer queries, helping to troubleshoot issues, explain services, and ensure every customer has a smooth and supportive experience.

Please note: You’ll need to be available for a rotating shift roster, covering weekdays from 8:30am–9:30pm and weekends from 9:00am–9:00pm.

💥 What you’ll do

Reporting to our Customer Service Manager, you’ll be part of the team delivering fast, friendly, and solutions-focused support to Pentanet customers.

From problem solving to guiding customers through account and billing queries, you’ll help ensure every interaction is handled with care and confidence.

You’ll also help improve our internal processes by identifying recurring issues and shaping a smoother support experience for all.

In this role, you will:

Be the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, support tickets, and live chat.

Deliver first-contact resolution wherever possible.

Support customers in managing accounts, from billing queries to plan changes.

Assist in resolving connectivity and service-related issues.

Identify and escalate complex issues for specialised technical support or management.

Guide customers through our products, services, and customer portal, empowering them with knowledge.

Apply effective complaint-handling skills to resolve basic concerns promptly, ensuring alignment with our complaints handling policy.

Contribute to continuous improvements in customer service processes.

Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Cultivate a positive team culture that reflects our company values.

👀 Who we’re looking for

Essential:

Previous experience in a customer contact centre environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.

Skilled at working both independently and with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and accounts.

Desirable:

Experience in the technology or telecommunications sectors, particularly in roles related to internet service provision.

Experience using Zendesk.
