About the Role:

You'll be responsible for estimating wet and/or dry fire systems-including hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, detection systems, EWIS, and alarm. This includes projects, system alterations, upgrades, and AFSS-related works. You'll work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to scope and price projects accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for wet and/or dry fire protection systems
• Review existing systems and ensure compliance with AS standards and AFSS requirements
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to align on scope and delivery
• Interpret technical drawings and produce block plans for documentation
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining compliance
• Provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience estimating wet and/or dry fire systems (hydrants, sprinklers, FHR, detection, EWIS, alarms)
• Strong understanding of AS1851, AS2118, AS2419, AS1670 and NCC/BCA
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Experience with pricing tools (Excel, Uptick, Procore or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Team player with a proactive mindset
