The Role
Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has become available for a skilled Estimator to join the Sydney office. You’ll play a key role in pricing a mix of commercial, education, community, and light industrial projects, both new build and refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders and negotiated projects
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and scope reviews
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Assist with risk assessments, value engineering, and project handover to delivery teams
• Support ongoing improvements in systems and tendering strategy

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar estimating role within commercial construction
• Familiarity with projects valued between $2M and $30M
• Solid understanding of trade scopes and market rates
• Experience using estimating software such as CostX or Buildsoft
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders concurrently
