Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with a strong background in the stone industry. In this role, you’ll take ownership of estimating high-end stone projects from tender through to job preparation. You will play a crucial role in preparing accurate quotes, managing nesting files, and ensuring seamless coordination with the production team.

Your key duties

Accurately estimate costs for stone benchtop and surface projects

Prepare and manage nesting files for production

Liaise with clients, builders and internal teams

Interpret architectural and shop drawings

Prepare detailed scope of works and quotations

Assist with job planning and project timelines

Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes

Provide drafting input where required (bonus skill)

What you’ll need to succeed

Minimum 3 years’ experience in stone estimating

Strong knowledge of stone products and fabrication techniques

Proficiency with nesting software and estimating tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Drafting experience highly regarded

Full working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship available)
